Husby was not feeling well this morning, I supposed it was due to the crazy weather we have here so he decided to skipped work. I have lots of workloads waiting on my table this Monday so I cannot stay home all day, I just went halfday and prepared a nice breakfast and left a good lunch so he could eat something while I am away.
While I am at work I keep calling him from time to time to check if he ate already or how is he feeling? It really made me guilty of leaving him at home alone. Sigh…
So when the clock showed that it was time to go home, I was about to carry my bag when my superior texted me to upload a file for our US office. Great!!!!!
It was so irritatting, you know the feeling when your mind is set to do something when another something hinders. hmp!
Okay…I just counted one to ten to keep myself calm, after 35 minutes I was done uploading and documenting everything. I called husby again to tell him I am ready to go home. He replied with a child like voice….. take care and go home quick please ….awwwww.
After an hour I was home, funny it did not rain today…..I was carrying a paper bag with these goodies;
I bough bunch of bananas and a box of caramel bar which is his favorite. Glad I was home and it does makes magic…he was feeling much better now! 
Okay….. so tomorrow will be a brand new day. Hope it will be another fine sunny day as I hate going home with my feet all wet. Hahaha!
How was everybody. Hope nobody got sick?

Ain’t he the sweetest. He is spoiling me so much. He always do this, giving surprises that makes me jump for glee.
Now you could imagine how busies I will be this weekend, lolz

Another thing more that will occupy my weekend is this;
I bought a sketch pad and two drawing pencils. My hands are so itchy to start sketching again. I’ll post my sketches once I’ve done a decent one, hehehe!

Ito ang kauna unahang cupcake na nagawa ko, tingin ko early 2008 yan. Hindi pa ako marunong mag gawa ng icing or frosting that time kaya simpleng cupcakes lang ang nagbibigay kasiyahan sa akin. Dark Chocolate at Vanilla cupcakes ang aking naging basic cupcakes. from there, natutunan ko na rin yung iba’t ibang flavors. Pero para sa asawa ko ang 2 basics na ito ang hit para sa kanya
Noon pa man nakakahiligan ko na ang magluto dangan kasi ang nanay ay may maliit na canteen business. Then after ilang years, nadiscover ko na mahilig din pala ako magbake. Pero hindi ganun kaseryoso ako noon kasi nga wala akong oven. Yung aming very efficient microwave with bake function ang gamit ko. Kaso madalas akong mapaso o kaya naman madalas matapon yung aking batter kasi maliit. Kaya naisipan ng aking mabait at mapag mahal na asawa na bilhan ako ng oven. Yehey!!!!Kaya mula noon…..linggo lingo, nag babake ako ng cake, brownies o kaya naman cookies. Pati nga pandesal pangarap kong hurnuhin.
Sabi nga kapatid ko, hindi ba daw ako nag sasawa sa ginagawa ko, sagot ko naman, aba hindi. I find baking a form of relaxation, naks! So ayun, nung pinatikim ko sya ng chocolate cake aba!aba! nag iba ang aura nya. Ito na ang sinabi nya;
Tuloy mo yan ate, magtatayo tayo ng business
from there, dun ko naisip ito;
oo nga noh. Gusto ko yun!
Soon magkakaroon ako nyan. Sariling bakeshop. Pag nagkaroon ako may libre ka promise, hehehe!
Ay maalala ko, ito pla ang lahok ko para sa linggong ito sa Litaratong Pinoy

Celebrations….
I love celebrations. Whatever it is. say Christmas, New Year, Birthdays, Graduation, An addition to the family, A successful exam, a great interview or any reasons to celebrate.
I love taking part in the preparation. Yes it is tiring but after the party itself, it is fulfilling to know that I somehow made the celebrant happy!
So yes….
We celebrated mom’s birthday last Saturday and feasted on the great food we prepared. We had the Pork kare-kare , Beef Caldereta, Steam fish, Pancit, Lumpiang Shanghai, the cake I bake and my sister prepared Maja Blanca. Mom was so happy with the preparation we did though she cooked most of the food. hahaha!
When dinner was served, I was too excited to start eating. I enjoyed the kare-kare with bagoong..and the spicy kaldereta, oh heavenly. It’s not that often that I eat this kind of food, you could imagine how giddy I was.
Oh NO!!!!!!!
I gained 3 pounds, after that uhhhohhhh. Bad Jeanny!!!!
But hey I can’t resist these yummies.

Another thing to celebrate….
my sister’s boyfriend was there. I could not help looking at them. It reminds me of our days where Dj was still my bf. Mushy!!!!hahahah
Anyway, sister and A are such a cute couple. I did not post their pic, my sister will kill me if I’ll do that. Actually she did not know that I am sharing her love story here, she knew I have blogs but she really don’t know it’s url, hehehe….

and finally!!!!!
Just today the 22nd of September, hubby and I celebrated our 6th years as sweethearts.
Imagine we’ve first found out that we we’re in love 6 years ago. Awesome! Love you labs. Thanks for the rocking gift. I so love it!
Okay, okay enough with all the excitements!
as a wrap-up, my weekend was a great one as usual.

Hello!!!!
This is Biggy, that was what I heard Ms. Jeanny called me when she took my photo. If you could not recognize me, I am brightly staring at you. She called me biggy because of my big bright eyes. Can you see how my eyes are lovely done?
Ms. Jhen is not available right now so she asked me to say a nice hello and she wishes all her online friends a great TGIF…. Hmmmm…What does that stand for anyway?
Oh well whatever it is, I know it’s going to be a blast!
So see you all very soon as she promise to write something nice about me (she do not break promises right?) keeping my fingers cross that is If I could just move a bit from here.

Ang bansang Pilipinas ay isa sa may pinakamayan na lupain na pinag kukunan ng ating pangunahing pagkain gaya ng bigas. Kaya nakakalungkot isipin na nung mga nakaraan buwan tayo ay nagkaroon ng rice shortage at kinakailangan pa nating umangkat ng bigas mula sa ibang bansa eh kung tutuusin dati rati tayo ay isa sa mga nag aangkat ng bigas sa iba’t bang panig ng daigdig.
Gayun pa man, positibo ako hinggil dito dahil ang mga Pilipino ay sadyang masisikhay, mga maparaan. Hinding hindi hahayaan na magutom ang kanya kanyang mga pamilya.
Alam ko sa sususnod na dumalaw ako sa ginintuang lupaing iyan, mas marami ng mga mga berde akong matatanaw.

It was indeed an exhausting weekend. As we had to go back and forth to the hospital to bring food, do errands, take care of AJ’s younger brother because he is not allowed to enter the hospital due to his younger age. It just made me worn-out but knowing that our brave boy is getting better as days pass, things are becoming rewarding to us.
After his operation, the boy has his whole face swollen that made his eyes hardly to open but after a few days it slowly returns to its normal form. He can smile now and his little brother who got an entry pass finally saw him for the first time this afternoon. His doctor said, he will be discharge this coming Tuesday or Wednesday. Glad things are becoming normal. We are praying for a positive lab result by the way. Do help us more in prayer :).
So okay, I was a bit bored at the hospital this afternoon, I then made myself busy looking at the ID pass that the guard issued at the lobby. Then I asked for hubz ID pass…I was amaze to see his ID because we both have the same 3 digits only the second and the third numbers were mix up and what is more funny, I entered the hospital first because he had to park the car. hehehe. What a coincidence
So after our hospital visit, we headed straight home. I had a quick shower while the husband fall a sleep. Since I was not really that sleepy, I bake more cookies. You see baking seems to be therapeutic. I feel relax, while I was beating the butter and sugar, while I was whisking the eggs, while I drop a large spoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased pans. Ahhh!!!!
and oh I bought two colored canister glass the other day and put the baked cookies in. It was lovely. I handed the red one to my mom. She loved the canister and the cookies too.
So how was everybody when I was so busy? Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Every time I’m at Gateway Mall, I never forget to visit Gourdo’s either to buy something or just plain window shopping. I love looking at their stuffs, from kitchenware, bake wares, cookbooks and other cooking and baking needs.
So this rainy evenings while I was waiting for the husband from work, I had the ample time to visit that shop.

baking goodies
Bought this baking delights at the supermarket yesterday…
Since I am on the verge to bake, I bought that muffin pan and the cookie pan. I also grab a new silicon whisk & spatula, both green because it’s my favorite color.
Upon arriving home, I was so eager to begin my baking!
I bake 2 kinds, the yellow cupcake and devil’s food cupcake topped them with vanilla buttercream frosting. Both were yummy and as usual, hubz love it too.
Hmmmm…sugar overload here hahaha!

It was my first time to read a classic novel. Glad I joined the Jane Austen book Club. Thank you again Wits.
Our read for the month of August was Persuasion, Jane Austen’s last completed novel before she died at age 41 in 1817.
Persuasion started 8 years after when Anne Elliot the second daughter of Sir Walter Elliot, a baronet broke her engagement with Frederick Wentworth (a poor young naval man), owing to Lady Russel’s influence. From there, Anne has spent precious years in shadows.
Her dreary life was because of honoring the plead of her family over her own wishes.
So what happen next… Years after, the tables are now turned…. Wentworth is now a captain with great fortune, he re-enters Anne’s life when the Elliot’s decided to let Kellynch Hall because of financial problem to Admiral Croft, Frederick’s brother in-law.
From there, many had happen…. Many ideas will tickle your mind. Reading this novel is so worthy. I have not enjoy reading this much. A simple story yet very inviting.
On with the story….
In the last part….
Sir Walter Elliot admire Frederick Wentworth and Lady Russel accepts her wrongness. Everybody learnt to forgive. All is well to them. Anne Elliot and Frederick, well…both are in love, both with great passion…so they deserve one another.
After reading this novel…. I must say… all this comes forgiveness and aspiration. It also confirms that true love indeed stands the test of time.
Would you yield to forget love because of your family and close friends. Hmmmm..

Sinukli yan sa akin ng babae sa isang mall….nasabi ko tuloy badtrip ang dami nito. Aanuhin ko naman ang mga ito para na lang silang mamera, hahaha.
Pero pero naisip ko, baket pera rin naman ang mga singko at dyes sentimos na ito. Kaya kanina rin sa grocery ako’y nagbayad ng sakto….ang bill ko 532.15, inabot ko sa kahera ang 530 na perang papel at ang dalawang piso at kinse sentimos at puro dyes at singko.
Abah!!!!ang kahera sumimangot. Tsk…ang sungit.
Nginitian ko na lang sya at bago lumabas ng grocery , nag punta ko sa customer service at sabi ko dun sa babaeng nandun…
miss yung kahera nyo sa line 5 nakasimagot di ba dapat laging nakangiti…hahaha!!!!
Narinig yata ako ng lady guard kaya pag labas ko siya’y nakangiti na nag sabing….
