Meeting with friends
One fine hot Saturday Sunday I dragged my husband to Cafe Metro at Greenbelt 3 to have lunch with blogger friends Dyanie, Kg and Rico.
It was our first time to meet but I tell you, the laughing and story sharing was non stop. It was fun meeting with these guys. Hopefully maulit. 
Oh here are the food that we ordered by the way
This is my favorite….it’s Gising gising (wake up-wake up in english). I guess it’s called that way because it will surely wake your senses kasi it’s a bit spicy. This dish was made with vegetables(baguio beans), ground pork and coconut milk. Yummm!
I dont know what this dish is…kasi hindi ko sya tinikman… layo nya kasi sa akin hahahahaha! Basta it’s lechon kawali with kangkong (tama ba Rico?)
and here’s another favorite…chicken with eggplant (ano nga to ulit Rico, hahaha) sorry I really didn’t get the exact name of this dish but It taste good.
I requested for this naman. Crispy tadyang. It was good but nothing spectacular, kahit sa bahay kayang kaya natin tong gawin
and this one is a fancier way of frying Tilapia. Im glad this dish is just infront of me. Kaya siya pinapak ko plus the gising gising.
The five of us enjoyed the food but what we enjoyed most was the getting to know each other part. Dyanie, Kg and Rico, thanks for sharing that wonderful afternoon with us, hubz and I really enjoyed it!
Oh by the way, I did not post our group photo, I wanted you to personally meet us. So kelan kaya?!

Canon in D major
Lately I’ve been very busy with work. Which made me exhausted at the end of the day.
But whenever I hear Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major, all my stress just melts away. It always do the trick for my tired soul. I just close my eyes and listen to it…..it gives me the peace and quiet I wanted. It relaxes me that much!
It has many versions but this one I’m sharing is my favorite:)

May simple, me matindi…mayron din pangarap na makatotohanan at mayroon din pangarap na pang fairy tale.

Odd food name
A native candy from the Philippines
Sundot-kulangot which literally means “poke the booger.” but nah it’s not booger you’ll find inside. It’s actually a sticky kind of sweet made from milled glutinous rice flour mixed with molasses, and served inside pitugo shells, and with a stick to “poke” its sticky substance with.
I wonder why they called it that way? Pwede naman sundot calamay hahahha!!!!

Sunshine or Rain?
Pretty flower…..the sun made you grow that lovely while the rain made you that healthy!
Sunshine makes me happy, as long as it’s accompanied with warm, pleasant weather. I like it bright and warm however, I do adore the rain. I find it more calming. The peace and warmth I experience is incomparable when it rains. .
Sunshine casts a happy mood over everything, I can go outside and do enjoy stuffs but rain is so awesome especially at night when lulling yourself to sleep, the droplets pounding on the roof…..it’s like a ralaxing music that helps me go to sleep fast.
It’s hard to pick, it’s hard to choose so I guess…..it’s both

LP: Misyon
Misyong makatulong sa aking munting paraan….
Isang project sa office namin pag buwan ng Pebrero ay ang blood donation. Pang apat na taon ko ng nag dodonate ng blood. Ang mga nakukuhang dugo mula sa donors ay dinadala ng oraganisasyong ito sa isang ospital para sa mga bata. Sarap ng pakiramdam na kahit papaano ay nakakatulong ka sa mga batang nangangailangan.
Sayang nga lang nitong buwan ng Pebrero wala kaming ganitong programa sa office sa hindi ko alam na kadahilanan pero sana next year magkaroon ulit ng ganitong project-ang blood donation
Ito ang aking lahok sa linggong ito sa Litratong Pinoy na may temang Misyon. Silipin nating ang misyon ng iba dito sa LP

Enjoying every sec
On arriving at Baguio City, we unpacked, lounged for two hours and headed to Mines View Park. I am a 2nd timer at the said place but wasnt really able to explore and enjoy Baguio’s beauty 6 years ago as it was raining that time
So this time though there were lots of people blocking my view, I was able to take some shots that made me gained this feeling of amazement. It was absolutely wonderful to see everything from up there
It was also so cold. I could feel the crisp air swaying my hair. Ahhh….
and looking at the lovely place made me took more photos…

Oh we left Mines View Park 5:30pm. We then noticed that we havent had lunch yet, gutom na pala kami sobra. So we headed to SM baguio for dinner.
We checked every floor at SM Baguio, aside from making usi on whats the interior look likes, I wanted to know what stores are in there .
I saw a photography shop and their selling dslr cameras a bit pricey that what we have here in Manila.
I didnt took photos inside the mall. I got so excited kasi na mamasyal sa loob!
but before we enter the mall, I took a shot outside. I dont know what street is that but it sure made me dizzy looking down!
I got some more photos to share. It’s a 3 day vacation so there are more to see here!

LP: Alam nyo ba!
Alam nyo ba….
gustong gusto ko kunan ng picture ang kabukiran at berdeng lupain. Ganda naman kasi pagmasdan lalo na pag nacapture mo yung actual beauty ng scenery. Kaya last week , nang kami ay punta sa Baguio pinilit ko si Hubz na magdala kami ng sasakyan. Ang problema kasi wala syang kapalit sa pag drive, hindi kasi ako marunong pa, hahhaha kaya yung buong byahe namin from Manila to Baguio sya ang may hawak ng manibela at ako ang may hawak ng camera oh di ba teamwork

How did we get there?
What I love about travelling- the food, the people, the place. The only thing I hate (I know you too) is the traffic but despite it, this does not absolutely dampen my wants to really have a good road trip.

Good thing there’s a great and more convinient way that generates travelers’ lives much easier: more efficient roads and public ways that makes travelling the north a breeze. Take the Subic Tarlac Expressway or SCTEX.
It was our first time to took SCTEX and I must say, the husband and I are so impress….
as the ride was smooth…
and scenic. It was totally awesome!
Thanks to SCTEX, our travel time had been reduced.

Brewing….
Good Morning!
Benguet Coffee
This coffee is said to be a native coffee of the Cordillera region, It’s a pure highland arabica coffee that packs a quite a punch. The grounds are dark roast rich aroma, perfect for my taste. When brewed, Benguet coffee grounds smells so good. A great way to start your day!
So you want a cup? I can brew some more, besides I bought 3 kilos of it!

6th for this year
Today the husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary, and to make it more fun, we decided to spend it here at Baguio City.
Though in a few hours we’ll be heading home, the 3 day short vacation was sweet, intimate and fun. Hubz, thanks for this nice gift. Happy anniv and 143

Better late than none at all!
Since we weren’t able really celebrate mother’s day because I was sick that time, my hubz and I decided to treat my mom for lunch last Sunday after church.
We had lunch at Mxt Teahouse. It’s a favorite place when I was a kid, and it was called Maxim’s Teahouse before.

We started with the the complimentary hot tea that mxt gives to their guest .
Not really a hot tea drinker but this one taste good. I almost consume the whole pot. hahahaha!
