Hubz is the sweetest date ever but I am referring to this one

These are yummy. Sweet dates stuffed with nuts. Friend S arrived last Sunday for a short vacation and she handed me these sweets. I never thought I would enjoy eating dates this much. The last time I had this fruit…I really did not enjoyed it, it was tough and it was tasteless. But this one, it’s meaty…bite into one, and your teeth sink into blissfully sticky flesh that tastes of rich caramel, luscious honey and a touch of cinnamon. It practically melts in your mouth. Oh heavenly !!!

Want some…I still have some here and oh…friend S says that this is an aphrodisiac food!

Hmmm…parang kilala ko tong baka na ito.

Siya na naman. Hindi yata dumating ang amo nya at naghanap ng luntiang lupain upang makakain at medyo magkalaman ang kanyang sikmura. Dangan kasi ang pinag iwanan sa kanya ng kanyang amo ay halos naubos na ang mga luntiang damo na dapat sana nyang kakainin.

Mooohhhh….mooohhhh…

Narinig ko na naman ang boses nya..marahil ay busog na siya. Hindi man nya makita ang amo nya, sigurado akong masaya siya dahil ang kumakalam na sikmura ay may laman na.

Halika tayo’y maglibot at bigyan sigla ang tema ngayong linggo sa Litratong Pinoy.

Mooohhh…

Isang baka na may balingkinitan na pangangatawan. May kaliitan kung tutuusin ngunit ganun pa man ay napakahalaga sa mga magsasaka.

Moooohhhh…Mooooohhhh ang sabi ng baka…

Marahil ay gutom na. Nakalimutan yata ni manong pakainin sya. Kaya heto nakatingin sa akin akala siguro ako ang amo nya. Hindi ako….pipikturan lang kita. Ngiti naman balingkinitang baka, I-kliklik ko na ang aking kamera. Dali na ngiti. Marahil sya ay pagod na at gutom na rin. Ang hirap nya pangitiin. Kaya iniwan ko na siya. Hindi ko na nasilayan ang amo nya. Baka kumuha ng pagkain para sa kanya.

Tara tayo’y mamasyal sa ibang lahok sa LP…tara dali!!!!

This weekend was a tiring one. Husband, my-in-laws and I went to Nueva Ecija Friday evening. On arriving, we were greeted by their relatives whom I barely knew and I did have a hard time remembering all those names. Though we’ve been married for five years, I only met few of his relatives because most of them lives at Nueva Ecija. I was also amazed knowing that large part of the baranggay are all their relatives. Actually, it was my second time to be there, my first one was a quick visit. So I didn’t have the ample time to see the wonderful fram and the sunset view beyond rice fields. I know it was not the right time to explore the beauty of the province since whole clan mourns for losing their beloved uncle but my husband and the in-laws are so kind enough to bring me and Aunt B Saturday afternoon at this beautiful place where we saw the abundant beauty of nature.

It was a lovely sight. Seeing the true beauty of the sun about to set.

Then the next day, I was amazed with this beautiful sight

Though there were no internet connection which I cannot live without, my 2 day stay was okay but of course I’ve been wanting to go back in the city, I miss my blog and bloghopping. So I’m off to blogging. So how was your weekend?

Anong kaguluhan yan! Si Bea Alonzo pala!

Ganyan tayong mga Filipino. Mahilig samga artista o manood ng pelikula kaya, o kaya naman ay manood ng PBB o PDA. hehehe. Aminin!

Ang mga Pinoy kahit, nahihirapan sa buhay, nakukuha pa rin naman magsaya. Yan ay isa sa mga katangian natin, hindi tayo magpapakalugmok sa kalungkutan, hinding hindi tayo papatalo sa anu mang hinagpis ng buhay. Babangon at gagawa ng paraan upang magkaroon ng masayang buhay.

Mahirap kaya mag-isip kung papaano natin bubudgetin ang ating sweldo hindi ba, ang taas na ng bilihin, ang taas ng gasolina (ako na lang yata hindi tumataas, hehehe). Kaya heto sa isang mall, ang daming nanood kay bb. Bea Alonzo, natutuwa, naaliw sa kanya (singer na rin pala si bea). Isinasaisang tabi muna ang problema upang saglit na magsaya

I feel so tired lately. I really don’t know why. My work schedules was not that loaded but I felt I am tired. By the time I arrived home, I wanted to have a decent sleep but “sleep” don’t want to cooperate with me. It’s like, you body is willing but the mind doesn’t, weird right!

A week ago, I bought some sleeping tabs. I asked the druggist if I can buy some without any prescription, I was amaze to know that I could have them without doctor’s prescription. So I bought two tabs for 45php each. So last night, it was almost 2am and what you know, I was still wide awake…bummer! I remembered about those sleeping tabs I bought but it scared me because I might get up too late for work. So instead of taking those, I opted to have a glass of warm milk and put some minty oil on my forehead. The aroma of the minty oil made me sleepy. So the next thing I remember, my eyes were shutting. Now I knew what to do next time, warm milk and the minty oil does the trick 

By the way, this weekend, we’ll be at the wake of Dj’s uncle who left the family last Monday. The last time I meet uncle P was five years ago during our wedding and I didn’t expect that I will meet him again on this sad scenario. Guess that’s how life is. I’m just thankful, I was able meet to him.

Crafty Odette sent me lots of love through her snail mail project. Wow, I almost jump for joy when my mom handed me the yellow envelop.I was so eager to open it but I waited because I got to take photos .

Odette, you amazes me with your stuffs. They are very lovely and so artistic and yeah I can tell that you put too much love while doing this. I’m so touch dear.

No amount of words can say how much I appreciated the lovely notecards you made. You really made my day happy. Thank you Odette.

Yes!!! It’s Friday, my favorite day of the week. Need not to explain right.

Hmmm…hubz and I are planning to spend the weekend somewhere to try our new toy. I’m not really sure where we heading, we could be at a park, or somewhere near a body of water (hmmm..sa dam ba???hehehe). Oh well….let’s see?
