I can’t believe it, it’s been 3 years now that I and D had been together. It seems that it was only yesterday that we got married. Parang kelan lang. D

Do I have to say more .Well I know, many of you know that I have a good and loving husband. A very patient and caring person. Super talaga as in. I know sometimes I make him mad because of my kakulitan and katarayan, but still, he asked sorry even though it’s my fault. He is somebody who will support me all the way in any decision I make. He makes me confident in any move I take. He makes me cry because I feel that there is so much love he has for me. Hay sarap mainlove if the right one comes along di ba. Im very lucky to have him. He completes me. I always say to myself, God really is good because He didn’t allowed me to be with someone who is irresponsible. Hubs I know your reading this at work at natatawa tawa ka dyan. D

Basta I love you and happy anniversary to us D

the ring has been in our fingers for 3 years now

Hay ang sarap….it’s Friday and it’s weekend. Sarap mahiga sa bed and wake up late tomorrow. This is what Im missing since I started working at this new company. Well…my new job is really exciting and Im doing a new project (new not becuse Im new here but because it’s my first time to handle such kind), an industrial plant located at the Middle East and what good about this new job is that I only handle 1 project at a time. Not like at my previous work, were engineers and CAD handle 2-3 projects. As I’ve said, Im liking the new job and Im loving the MRT ride. It’s not that hard naman to take the MRT pala. Just be early and if your a regular MRT commuter better buy a stored value card to save time from the long line when buying a card. D
Anyway, got my first pay last week, went to the salon and have my hair done, a massage and a yummy coffee jelly grande from starbucks. This is what I call relaxation, di bah! D

Happy weekend everyone.

….pahabol…

got this from Toni. Thanks sis, this is so cute D

Hubby gave these this afternoon. Sweet noh. As I’ve said before, he is not the flower-chocolate gift giver during Valentine’s Day but he does great surprises. To me this one is a big surprise. The only thing is, he forgot to write any message in the card, funny…see hindi sya talaga sanay. But kilig pa rin. I suspect this gift is for my birthday too. Tipid di bah. After vday, bday naman the next day. Thanks for those who texted, send messages through chat and all those who remembered. Thanks to all.

I got hired. Yipee…

I’ll be starting on the 16th of Feb, which is a day after my birthday. I gave (again) my resignation yesterday. Hubby asked if I could start on March 1st so I can relax a bit but sad to say, I have to report on the 16th at once because they do really need the manpower for their existing project. After the interview, I treated my self with a slice of sbarro supreme pizza. yummeh. I also wanted to order baked ziti but the huge pizza sliced made me feel bloated. So after eating, I ordered these for take out D

baked ziti and a slice of chicken & vegetable pizza. So heavenly and sarap. D

other updates…
up to know the driver hasn’t settled the problem with our car. So today, we went at QC hall to talk to the driver but he was out for fieldwork. So we just left a note saying that he should see us at our place to fix things up. We wont let him go away with this.

Another thing to rant…
As you know we opened our computer shop this November 2005. After accomplishing the DTI and baranggay clearance, our mayor’s permit was made on hold, a friend of mine suggested to accomplish things on January 2006 since the renewal of all business permit is held every January. So that’s what we did. We began accomplishing the requirements for our biz permit last month. There were so lot of things to finish but were patient enough to follow the legal procedures. This afternoon, Dj and I went to City hall again to complete everything, and then, as we approach the person in charge in one of the department, he read our biz permit application form….

Guy: Ma’am computer shop pla. 8 pla units nyo.
(pointing to the requirement)
Dj: Eh sa normal procedures po ang gawin naten. Yun naman ang dapat.
Guy: So pakisubmit na lang ang mga ito po (pointing again to the list)

We then walked away….

then I whisper…ang kakapal talaga ng mukha. Hay…

Amoy McDo na dighay ko, he he he. Know why… I’ve been eating this burger mcdo for 3 consecutive days just to have this Narnia collection. Im not really a fan of McDo, I much-preferred Jollibee but their toy collections are really great. D

5 more and I’ll be completing all the characters. Maybe next time I’ll order the Spaghetti and mc Chicken hapi meal…yebah D

I was really having troubles in adjusting my time. With work, with my small business and me being a wife. O-oww…

Bad, bad me. I just can’t imagine, Im a good employee. I render overtime when needed and finish my work before deadline. I’m good business owner. I handle the business seriously but the wifely thing, boooh, a loser. Yeah I do still cook, but not as the real cooking that I’ve been doing before. Hubby’s been eating fried fish for 2 days, sauté corned beef the other night and been eating those processed foods which I bought from the grocery. Then visiting Dexie’s blog made me yearn my real cooking and my green apron as well. I miss the sinigang, the nilaga, the kare-kare and I know hubby misses them too. He just couldn’t complain because he too is busy with our shop as the tech guy. Though we have 2 assistant, he prefered to personally attend to those PC problem that our clients are experiencing. Then reading toni ’s latest post, hits me. My closet is a total mess now. What did happen to misis organize. Hello, where are you. Wake up girl. Manage your time. I made a promise that I will clean our closet. It’s been 2 weeks now but I haven’t moved and inch. I make my work an excuse for not doing so. Bad me…bad me again. Im really having troubles here.

Mom suggests hiring a maid, but I opted not to. I know I can solve this time management dilemma. It’s just that were having adjustment little by little. Soon everything will fall in its right places. For the meantime, Dj should learn to love my quick cooking and mining his blue shirt in our messy closet.

Have a marvelous weekend D

P.S
I want to watch Harry Potter, sana next week. Keep my fingers cross.

labor of love
As promised, I’m sharing the chocolate cake that I made for my sister J for her 28th birthday. So get a plate and grab a slice. D

Now, to do this cake, let’s start with the filling…

fillinf

In a saucepan mix together a can of condensed milk (the small one), 1-cup milk, 1 eggyolk, 2-tablespoon cornstarch. Stir in low heat until it thickens. Then add 1-tablespoon butter. Then set aside.

For the chocolate frosty…

chocolate sauce

Mix 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder & a can of condensed milk in a saucepan (in low fire). Keep stirring until the chocolate powder dissolves. Stir until it thickens. Then add the 1-tablespoon butter. Set aside and chill for 10 minutes before using.

For the chocolate cake…

cake

I followed this recipe

Now, after preparing all the stuff. Assemble the cake.
Slice the cake in half ( lengthwise). Get the top half set aside. Spread the filling by using a rubber spatula on the bottom half. Then put the other half of the cake on top. Again with the use of a rubber spatula, cover the entire cake with the chocolate frosty, spread evenly. Chill for a while and serve.

bawas na

and they just loved it D

Happening and Some Thoughts September 21, 2005

Im back to work. Sigh.

My vacation heaven is through. I was thinking of not showing up here after my vacation but of course I cannot do that, mahirap na ma-AWOL. Being out of the work force for a month…lots of things happened here . Some are nice while others are not so nice. And Im not sharing with you guys those not so nice things simply because I don’t want you to feel bad din. D

Anyway, the bowling tournament started 3 weeks ago and the championship will be this Friday. This is one of the most awaited event next to summer outing and Christmas bonuses D , because it’s the time where all employees can enjoy the game without thinking of any projects, deadlines or any work related stints. Here, our only goal is to gain points, win and be the best. I haven’t join the last 3 games but surely I’ll play on Friday and hopefully team 7 (where I belong) will win the championship.

Then, there are lots of new faces here. Mostly are fresh grads. Come to think of it…Im a senior na pala. When I was hired here I was the youngest… now, Im the oldest in my batch already since the other resigned. That’s why most of them used “po” & “opo”. Feel ko tuloy matanda na ko, lolz. Time really fly so so fast.

What else…ah the company has given the half of the 13th month 2 weeks ago. Actually it was a little late. Before it was given as early as May. But still we are very thankful D

That’s about it. Those were the good news that made not only me happy but the other employees as well. D

On a different note…
Since yesterday, people keep asking me if I’ll push through with my plan of leaving. I just answered back with a smile, thinking that they know what I mean about it. I have said before what I want and what I want is what I’ll do. Sometimes…it’s tiring to explain things when they simply don’t like to understand what you’re saying. I mean…I have said what I want to do but they keep on insisting this and that. I really appreciate their advices…all will be kept in my heart and my mind but I have my own plans and besides, I know I’ll be happy with it D

By the way, I haven’t talked with boss yet. Im finding the right time to talked to him again. Guess I got to wait next week.

having coffee alone

Now is the start that I’ll be spending my Sunday morning coffee by myself. Sigh.

It’s because hubby’s rest day was changed from the usual Sunday to Friday. So it means, we’ll be adjusting our schedules, say time for grocery or malling. When hubby was offered with this job, he mentioned that there are shifting in work scheds. He knew this because he once worked for the company 5 years ago . I thought when he mentioned about this changing work sched, he was just kidding, hindi pla ( . So now…here I am having my coffee (masarap pa naman )while the rhythm of the rain is my music that fills the air.

Oh well…that’s life. I just hope he will have his Sunday rest back soon D

Thanks for this sis.
It took an arm and a leg to answer this D

TWENTY YEARS AGO
Im at grade V-2. I was studying very hard because I aim to be in section 1 before I graduate grade school and I was the next school year.
I was still playing outside our house. I received my first love letter from my classmate Matthew. Love watching Punky Brewster (sorry don’t know if it was 20 years ago or more)

FIFTEEN YEARS AGO
Im at my last year in H.S. I was busy with things regarding school because I’m a graduating student. I had my first bf that lasted for a year. I was exempted at C.A.T because Im a choir member. I passed the NCEE and took entrance exams at different university and still undecided what to take in college. Start reading Sweet Dreams

TEN YEARS AGO
I finish college and got my first job after 3 months. I broke up with my college bf. I started going to gimmicks with college friends and officemates. I haven’t got a chance when I was studying. My father was very strict. I started to learn cooking pansit bihon at spaghetti.

FIVE YEARS AGO 2000
Been spending my 3rd year with my not-so-good-bf. We had a love hate relationship. August 19, 2000 was my first day at my present employer.

THREE YEARS AGO 2002
I met this wonderful guy na I was married wih the next year D

LAST YEAR
Was a more loving year for us.

THIS YEAR
I’ll be out of the work force and decided to have a small computer business: D

NEXT YEAR
Have a long week vacation at boracay hopefully: D

TEN YEARS FROM NOW
…Has kids. Still cooking for hubby and the kids. Preparing sandwiches for baon. Helping them at their homeworks. Managing a business. And loving more my husband: D

WHO I WISHED WOULD TAKE THESE QUESTIONS
I would like to tag all those people who has a letter “A” in their first name: D

Finally…I found a place where I can be organize. Thanks to Tin for suggesting this at her virtual place. I was looking for something like this but not as complicated as WordPress.

It’s hard to leave all my butterflies behind, but I know they are happy for me. I wanted them to bring but there should be somebody to entertain my visiting friends at my old place and inform them that Im now here.
I’m finished unpacking. I’ve put things in it’s right places. I’m now Startin’ A new Life here. D

And oh…you can use my pen up there to update your links.
Have a happy week to all!
