I’m a bread person. …
I love pandesal dunked in a cup of coffee. I love monay with melted butter, yum or tasty with peanut butter and jelly, double yum ![]()
Hmmmm….like ko rin pla ang ensaymada with lots of cheese on top or the sweet mongo bread ng goldilocks, or the pianono ng dexter’s….favorite ko rin
So obviously…mahilig talaga ako sa bread. So this morning…kahit malalate ako sa office, I prepared french toast for breakfast. Since ito ang pinaka important meal, I make it a point not to skip this breakfast. I notice kasi before when Im not taking breakfast, my day is so tiring. So this morning, I’m a happy bee because I ate french toast and a cup of coffee. yebah ![]()
So how was your Monday…did you take your breakfast this morning ![]()

It’s been too long since I last updated. Please forgive me for not updating and not bloghopping. I am so busy with work. Dami ko deadlines. Would you believe this past week I got a total of 30+ overtime. Including Saturday OT and 1 overnight. Grabeh. My eye bags are getting obvious. I missed my 3pm appointment with my derma at qc the other week because I got to go to work. Hay…ang hirap pala. Hubby told me na I can stop stop if I want too. If Im getting tired with all these, I can quit job. Well, I told him, this is what the excitement is all about. The pressure…the hardship. This is what I want.
Anyway, aside from my busy work, well, hubby and I was in a little misunderstanding the past weeks and I am glad we’ve settle everything now and we’re back in our sweet self again. Actually, we both have mistakes. So we talked it over, admit our faults and make up. Yehey…:D
For the nth time…IM on a DIET. Hehehe. Actually I got a little help from my doctor. I really wanted to lose weight. For health reasons na rin. Health reason because Im not getting younger anymore, and being far from my normal weight is not healthy di ba. Who knows, I might get pregnant too with this health thing Im doing.
Oh nga pla…My in-laws almost lost their house because of the fire, which started with an LPG tank. Thank God their house was spare. Actually, they bought a new house a month ago somewhere not far with their old one an planned to move-in in five days. But because of the fire they decided to move-in early. Now with the old place, they intend to lease it. The only thing is, some of their things where broken because of the chaos but again, we are all thankful that nobody got hurt.
So that’s it for now and see you.
Have a swell week everyone

What a perfect time to have a glass of cold ice tea but nagsasawa na ko. Hay. So what will I do? We only have nestea ice tea in our fridge. Lemme think. How about iced coffee. Yeah great idea. Since Im a certified coffee lover, this iced coffee will surely soothes me. But I want my cold coffee be little bit different. So I browse the net and found this cafe latte milkshake
Ang sarap kaso lalong nakakataba. MInsan lang naman eh, kaya ok lang ![]()
How about you, what do you do to beat the heat ![]()

Hello and yes Im back. It’s been 3 weeks na since I last updated this blog. I got lot of things to tell, including my new job. I started last March 6. Since I’m a Quezon City girl, Im not really that familiar with the Makati area, so my first day to go there by myself was a bit challenging. Commuting all the way from our place to Makati was so tiring. Imagine the 45 minutes ride that I use to do was now a 1hr & 30-45mins with my new job. The time I got home during my first day at Makati, I was really dizzy and guess what… I throw-up, he he he. Hubby was so awang-awa sa akin. HIndi kasi ako sanay ng ganun byahe. Ok lang kung out of town pero not this one. Then I have to take the MRT pa, which is always jam-packed. Then that night I began thinking, will I make it. Will I stay that long. I told hubby I give up and I don’t want to return to work. Then he said, what happen to the person who is strong willed and positive. Sisirain mo ba ang magandang working record mo. Give it another try. If in a month you still cannot adjust then you can resign if you want. That’s what I did. I reported the next day and was armed with the positive attitude. So now, Im on my 3rd week with my new job and I’m liking it already. It wasn’t really that bad commuting from QC to Makati after all.
I really got great news, the company is having it’s yearly summer outing and we will be going to boracay, yebah!!! Kaso hubby don’t want to come since, we will be paying additional 10k for non employee
. But it’s okay with him naman. He promised me na we’ll be going to boracay soon, Di bah masaya.
I guess that ’s it for now. I’ll give more update soon.
P.S. I miss my cooking stints. ![]()

I got hired. Yipee…
I’ll be starting on the 16th of Feb, which is a day after my birthday. I gave (again) my resignation yesterday. Hubby asked if I could start on March 1st so I can relax a bit but sad to say, I have to report on the 16th at once because they do really need the manpower for their existing project. After the interview, I treated my self with a slice of sbarro supreme pizza. yummeh. I also wanted to order baked ziti but the huge pizza sliced made me feel bloated. So after eating, I ordered these for take out

baked ziti and a slice of chicken & vegetable pizza. So heavenly and sarap.
other updates…
up to know the driver hasn’t settled the problem with our car. So today, we went at QC hall to talk to the driver but he was out for fieldwork. So we just left a note saying that he should see us at our place to fix things up. We wont let him go away with this.
Another thing to rant…
As you know we opened our computer shop this November 2005. After accomplishing the DTI and baranggay clearance, our mayor’s permit was made on hold, a friend of mine suggested to accomplish things on January 2006 since the renewal of all business permit is held every January. So that’s what we did. We began accomplishing the requirements for our biz permit last month. There were so lot of things to finish but were patient enough to follow the legal procedures. This afternoon, Dj and I went to City hall again to complete everything, and then, as we approach the person in charge in one of the department, he read our biz permit application form….
Guy: Ma’am computer shop pla. 8 pla units nyo.
(pointing to the requirement)
Dj: Eh sa normal procedures po ang gawin naten. Yun naman ang dapat.
Guy: So pakisubmit na lang ang mga ito po (pointing again to the list)
We then walked away….
then I whisper…ang kakapal talaga ng mukha. Hay…

It’s a busy week for me. Seems that tons of workloads are after me. Meetings, meetings lots of meetings are scheduled for the week. Phonecalls and lots of phonecalls are expected to bug me. The 8am-6pm work time will surely extend just to meet the deadlines OF our clients.
Oh…It really is hard to adjust. I’ve been married for a year now but still, adjusting with my work (which is too demanding)and my wifey world is not that easy. Now, Im here in front my pc at home, thinking…but nothing seems to come out. At this moment hubby is sleeping soundly and me, doing this report for tomorrow’s meeting. Hayayay
I know Im familiar with this work. I’ve been doing this for ages. But seems that, my thinking is not functioning. My sense of understanding is somewhat lost. The only thing I know right now, I wanna sleep. I tried… A while ago, I disengage the switch of this pc and tried to have a shut-eye but my mind is not cooperating with my tired body. So I reboot my pc and start working again but hey, still got a problem. My brain is still not working. Can’t think of anything for the meeting tomorrow. Thank God for the web. I’m relaxing a bit. Reading blogs (which I miss doing) of some fellow bloggers. I then realized that working and working is not healthy. After this deadline, I’ll surely ask a break (a week long sana).
Hmmmm…I think I’m sleepy na awwwww…oh, It’s February na pla. Lapit na birthday ko. wuahhh

I’ve not been blogging for some time now, as usual Im busy with lots of stuff lately. I was busy with my registration with my business. Then I’m busy answering this logo test which I got from wickham. It took me 3 weeks to finish the quiz. Call it time wasting but hey I enjoyed answering the quiz but syempre with hint yun.
Aside from that I’ll be having this job interview at Makati this coming Monday. Hopefully I’ll get the job. Im not really a corporate dresser so I bough a new pair of slack and a girly (almost) blouse. Guys wish me all the luck ![]()
In other news…
Our car that was parking in front of our house was slightly hit by a suzuki vehicle, which is owned by the q.c government. Luckily, plenty of people saw the incident so the driver and his lady passenger knocked at our house and asked if we were the owner of the car. The conversation goes like this…
Lady: Tao po…sa inyo po ba itong kotse
Me: Opo baket po
lady: nasagi po kasi ang kotse nyo ng dala naming city government vehicle.
Me: (as I walk near the car to see the damage) Oh my goodness…sobra naman po yata itong sagi na sinasabi nyo. I was expecting na maliit na galos lang.
Lady: pasensya na po. city government car po kasi yung naka bangga
Me: wala po akong pakialam kung goverment owned yang sasakyan na yan. Let’s follow the procedures. Ibigay nyo po sa akin yung driver’s license ng nakabangga tska yung registration ng sasakyan na yan. (saying to the driver).
Driver: Ma’am wala pong registration yan
Me: pano pong wala. Government owned yang sasakyan na yan di ba. Sa gobyerno pa naman kayo nag tratrabaho pero hindi nyo alam ang tama. dapat dala nyo yan parati pag nag byabyahe kayo.
Then I asked their contact numbers. The lady gave me a landline number and below stated office of the V___ M____. So ano ngayon kung office yan ni Mr. B. and besides does he know you people are using his office name. Kawawa naman.
I insisted to hand me the vehicle registration paper or we’ll discuss things at the baranggay. Then after a while, the driver handed me the registration paper, the only thin is, it’s 2004 registration pa. Hay. mga pasaway talaga. Then I photocopied everything plus, took picture of our damaged car and the city government owned vehicle. Then I made the driver signed the letter saying that he will pay or fix the damage that he made.
Ladies and gentlemen, these people are those who are considered as the rotten employee of the government. Excuse me for saying this; I know not all are like them. There are still government employees who really serve truthfully. But these people are so irresponsible. They use their connection just to escape their responsibilities. ![]()

the culprit, matatag na republika, talaga lang ha!!! (as you can see, the year is still 2004.)

Have taken some aspirin but still, I sneeze so badly and oh my nose is getting so red. I’m having a hard time in eating. My appetite is somewhat loss. Since December, all I got was flu & muscle pains and now cough and colds. I badly need a rest and drink lots of water.

Just because Im tired September 9, 2005

Im very tired. Know why…I just finished ironing tons of clothes. In all the house chores I least like…it’s ironing. I love to cook, I enjoy doing the laundry, can clean the watercloset and bathroom but ironing, man…oh man… Sometimes, I’m wondering if people were used in wearing unpressed clothes…then there’s no need to iron… silly me, he he he.
But tell you, Im good in pressing clothes. Im not satisfied if the shirt or jeans are not smoothened. I make it a point that my ironing is at it’s best. Tiring yes…hate it…a little but the only thing that rewards me is when Dj compliments his nice pressed clothes. ![]()
Btw, I’ll be returning to work a week from now so I thought of checking my shoes. Then I realize I haven’t bought a pair of slip-on in months. So tomorrow, I’ll be heading at the mall to buy a new one ![]()

Star. Thanks for this set of questions. This is fun.
1. Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie for Brad Pitt?
It’s Jennifer Aniston for me. Im not really into this Hollywood stuff. But I can say, Pitt Aniston break up made me sad. I may not really know them in person but from what I have read on magazines, they were such an inseparable couple before. Who would ever think that they will end up as ex-couple. Now that Brad and Angelina are playing good music together, I just hope for them the best and keeping my fingers cross that they wont end up in another divorce or something.
2. How did you mend your last broken heart?
It wasn’t that easy. I cried for days. But of course it’s not all crying. I told myself I have to move on. It’s good to have friends and a very supportive family in times like this. and it’s good that Dante, a great friend (turn great hubby) was very concerned. Yep, he was the one who helped me picked up all the broken pieces. He helped me heal the wounds that no good guy left. So Im very thankful to him for coming into my life..
3. Were you ever told you look like a celebrity?
Well, when I was in my early 20s, I was told that I look like Raven Villanueva (the pa-tweetum youngstar turned sexy star). Then when I chopped my hair short, they said I was like Aiko Melendez. Until now, It’s still Aiko Melendez daw. Maybe because were both mataba, hahaha!
4. What was your most senseless purchase?
How about this cookbook. It’s been seating in my bookshelf for ages. I was trying to learn cooking that time (college)so I bought it. I got sick following instruction in that cookbook so I decided to learn from experience na lang. After all practice makes perfect, right!
5. Will you spank your children to discipline them?
Nah. I don’t believe in this. I might not be a parent at this moment but I know, spanking wont make any good. I’ll just talk with the kid and explain what he did was wrong. or I can cut his TV pleasure of make him grounded as a disciplinary move.
Well, I also believe that we as grown-ups should sight a better example to our kids, whatever attitude they have is depending on how we mold them.

Life…Though full of trials is still beautiful, is still great. With those trials that each of us encounter make us a better person. Sometimes, we get hurt and shed tears. But will all those hurting and tears, we become stronger. Sometimes, we fall in love but failed to make the relation flourish. With those failures, we learned what real love is all about.
There are lots of things that we should be thankful of, not only with the good things that is happening in our everyday lives but also in all aspects. Failures do come but by looking at the brighter side, we can see hope and deliverance. We should be thankful of that.
I know as human beings, it’s hard for us to be happy when were sad, or be good when annoyed. It’s ok for us to frown, to cry, and to be sad. Were just human. But again if all this happened don’t ever forget to look and see the ray of light and you’ll see, you’ll be fine.
