Hmmm… this photo was taken by my ever dearest husband. I promise to post this but can’t think of anything to write. I’ve been in front of the pc thinking for 2 hours but nothing and what is worse I can’t give a title for this. So if you please kindly help me.

Can you think of any title or caption for the picture. Hubz will appreciate it I’m sure. :)

By the way, If you’ll ask, that’s a battery operated lamp. It lights up when you press it. :)

Hi there. Just got home. Finish a lot of paperworks today..wuahhh sobrang pagod ako. I wanted to update…The Mind is willing but the Body is not.

By the way…Im not really in the great mood today because, I wasn’t able to donate blood. I’ve been doing this for three years alreay but this time, I was rejected by the blood letting team. The reason, because of my past operation. I have to wait 6 months to do so. Hmmmm…sayang!!! Oh well there will always be a next year.

have a great weekend everyone

Last Thursday, we had our Christmas party. Nakakapagod because I was a member of the program committee and was also asked to be one of the host. Though ayaw ko because I know its a tiring stint, want ko lang na mag enjoy the whole night watching the program. Ms. A insisted, since medyo kinulit ako ok sige na nga. The program was okay naman, nag enjoy pa rin ako yung nga lang talagang nakakapagod. :)

So, since our party is over, it means, vacation na, yebah!!! Long vacation indeed. I’ll be returning to work this January 3 na. Pero Im planning na sa Jan 7 na lang since bday ni hubs ng Jan 4 and I want to spend the 4th with him yun eh kung makakapag leave siya. So bahala na. Anyway, as I’ve said vacation na and its super sarap…yun nga lang lagi akong gutom, hehehe. Diet diet…Like now Im craving for ferino’s bibingka, puto bumbong, dolor’s sapin sapin or kaya palitao with matching brewed coffee… heavenly. Kung hindi lang tintamad si hubby mag drive at kung marunong lang ako mag drive, I’m hitting the road right now, lesson learned here. I should know how to run our car ng hindi na ko umaasa ke labs na minsan eh tinatamad ako ipag drive, hehehe…

So for now dito muna ko nakontento, ang tignan lang muna sila sa pics…. :)

2 days na lang Christmas na….Cant wait. have a great day everyone ;)

That’s what happens when MRT service is suspended. Chaos at Ayala Avenue. I was a little naiinip while waiting for the bus on my way home last Friday. So I used my phone cam to take the pic. Grabe…daming tao bigla sa Ayala. Hay…ang hirap sumakay…

Signal no. 3 hits manila last Thursday. Because of this strong typhoon the MRT service was suspended. I didn’t come to work last Thursday. So last Friday upon my way to work, I was shocked to know that there was no MRT service and was so shocked to see what happened to Edsa. Many billboards have fallen. Many trees were uprooted. I have also learned from the news that many were injured and some were killed. So sad very sad. (

pechay

Sometimes, when I dont feel like cooking, I usually go for easy recipes such as sauted vegtable or canned goods. But since it’s a Sunday, I dont have any excuses not to cook. You see, Sunday is not an ordinary day for us. It’s the only day that husby and I can eat together. Good thing I bought pechay the other day. It’s a very simple dish that I learned when I was in 6th grade D

Sauté the garlic and onions. Add the ground beef or pork or shrimp, your choice. When the meat is done, add the chopped stalks. Put a little water. Simmer. When the stalks are a little bit transparent add the pechay leaves. Add in some patis and ground pepper to taste. A few minutes it’s done. Voila D

The vegtable dish goes well with fried fish. Since we dont have stock of fresh fish. I tried this 555 fried sardines. I heat the pan and put the sardines’ oil first. When its hot, fried the sardines for 3-4 minutes. Done…easy, easy. Who would ever tell na Im to lazy to cook here. D

Have a great week everyone

4:45am Sunday morning….Gising pa ko oo….not because I cannot sleep but because Im still here at the office. Ang tindi noh. overtime na overnight pa. Pero the good thing is…we don’t have to go to work this Monday (which is a holiday). We finished our drawing for our internal deadline. So by this morning, yung next batch ng employees naman ang mag rerender ng ot to do minor corrections na lang. Hay I so missed our bed. Right now mag isa lang si hubby sa house. Miss him too already. (

I’ll just wait for 5am so I can call at our place to inform hubby na he can fetch me na here. So right now, surf surf muna ng konti…pero I think I’ll have a short nap muna. Kinda sleepy na kasi.

Just a have a great sunday and enjoy the monday holiday… D

Went blog hoppin’ and read cyn lastest post. Well, it’s her last day na sa work. I remember my last day too. Then I became emotional. Kasi na-miss ko yung mga old friends ko sa ESCA. Lalo pa kong naging emotional when I read myold entry. It’s true that I gain new friends here in my new work but still those people I spend for 5 years (sa ESCA)are the one who really show me what true friendship is all about. So mare sana matuloy na ang aking coffee date this month. D

Anyway, in my last entry I mentioned na I earned a 99 hours of OT. First time in my working life ha. So I treated myself para naman ma feel ko yung hard work na ginawa ko. I went shopping. Below are few of the things I bought sa mall D

Thursday Tips-On Ovens June 24, 2006

ruth , As a promise here are some tips on how to clean the oven & stoves.
The inside of ovens and stoves can become disgustingly dirty over time. The best method of cleaning of them is to keep on top of the spills that occur. Below are great tips for keeping ontop of the mess caused inside your oven or stove whilst cooking:

1. Aluminum foil is quickly to the rescue in this case. You can keep your oven cleaner by lining the bottom of your oven with aluminum foil. When it is dirty, remove the foil and put new down.

2. Keep your pans that you use for baking cleaner without the hassle of a sticky mess by lining the baking pan with foil, with the dull side up and then spray with cooking spray - this allows you to cook with out the big clean up mess!

3. When spills occur on our cooker immediately sprinkle the spill with salt. Wipe it up once things have cooled down. It will absorb the spill.

4.To dissolve baked on spills apply a paste of baking soda and water it will shift the mark with a bit of rubbing.

5. Place a small dish of ammonia on the upper rack of the oven and a pan of water on the bottom. Leave the oven warm over night. Air the oven in the morning and wipe away the grease with an all purpose cleaner and warm water.

6. Try to avoid spills in your oven by placing casseroles or pies which are the main offenders of spills on a baking sheet or silver foil when cooking.

6. If you have been busy cooking and now you have a bunch of grease in the bottom of your stove you can clean this out fast. Just sprinkle the bottom of your over with a bit if dishwasher powder. Just the area with a few paper towels and wipe out clean with a wet wash rag.

Today, I skipped work. Wala lang I was so tinatamad kasi. I felt that I need a one-day rest from work. So that’s what I did. Nope, I didn’t go to malls today as what I always do when Im not at work. Nah, I didn’t do some household chores such as doing the laundry which I always do when not at work too. I was just in bed the whole morning sleeping. Boy isn’t that relaxing D

…then after, I was in front of the pc chatting the whole afternoon with my online friends which I’m missing na. It’s a great feeling to bond with them once again. D

…then I emailed hubby. Medyo it was a long time na since I sent email to him at work. He mentioned before that he misses my e-mails, so there I sent one for him, hope he had read it already D

…then I got a chance to play with my one and only 9 yr old niece this evening. I made her an email addy and made her a friendster account. I added her up too in my list. Great bonding di ba.

… I still dont want to come to work tomorrow but I can’t. hay…

Hello and yes Im back. It’s been 3 weeks na since I last updated this blog. I got lot of things to tell, including my new job. I started last March 6. Since I’m a Quezon City girl, Im not really that familiar with the Makati area, so my first day to go there by myself was a bit challenging. Commuting all the way from our place to Makati was so tiring. Imagine the 45 minutes ride that I use to do was now a 1hr & 30-45mins with my new job. The time I got home during my first day at Makati, I was really dizzy and guess what… I throw-up, he he he. Hubby was so awang-awa sa akin. HIndi kasi ako sanay ng ganun byahe. Ok lang kung out of town pero not this one. Then I have to take the MRT pa, which is always jam-packed. Then that night I began thinking, will I make it. Will I stay that long. I told hubby I give up and I don’t want to return to work. Then he said, what happen to the person who is strong willed and positive. Sisirain mo ba ang magandang working record mo. Give it another try. If in a month you still cannot adjust then you can resign if you want. That’s what I did. I reported the next day and was armed with the positive attitude. So now, Im on my 3rd week with my new job and I’m liking it already. It wasn’t really that bad commuting from QC to Makati after all. D

I really got great news, the company is having it’s yearly summer outing and we will be going to boracay, yebah!!! Kaso hubby don’t want to come since, we will be paying additional 10k for non employee ( . But it’s okay with him naman. He promised me na we’ll be going to boracay soon, Di bah masaya.

I guess that ’s it for now. I’ll give more update soon.

P.S. I miss my cooking stints. )

What is this and this. The start of Martial Law. Inuunti unti ba nila tayo? Is this state of emergency is just another term for Martial law.
