It’s been days since December started and still I just can’t feel the Christmas feeling. Up to now, I haven’t bought any single gift for anybody nor had sent any greeting card to friends. What on earth is wrong with me? My father started putting the Christmas lights just this morning and our little Christmas tree was up already since last week. The only thing that is missing is the Christmas spirit that I been hoping to have. I was thinking of playing Christmas song this weekend. Who knows, I might catch the Christmassy feeling.

I’ve attended DJ Christmas party, which was held last Sunday at Araneta Coliseum. I did have fun. I got to see Jon Santos as krissy aquino. He was funny but he stayed too long on stage, which made his performance boring na. Then Iya Villana sang, wondering what happened with her and the TMG D . Toni Gonzaga, sang too. She was really good. Her voice is really powerful. Then the main part of the show was, Martin Nievera’s concert (which he sang for about 2-3 hours, I guess). It was my first time to see him in concert. And boy he was definitely good. Buti na lang sumama ko kay hubby D . Not to forget to mention the hotlegs as Martin’s dancer. Boy boy, they are flying. They were like ballet dancers, dancing in the air. I remember one of my friend mentioned before, she considered the hotlegs as the only real good dancer here in the country and I agree to that D . I was wondering if Hanagirl was one of the dancer, I wasn’t able to see their faces since we were seated beside the stage. But again okay lang D

For all that, Dj got my ticket for 300 pesos only. Great huh. The show ended at past 7pm and Dj and I went malling and enjoy the rest of the night. D

Busy with work… and by the time you finished you remembered what is left in your fridge is a piece of hotdog. You were about to go to the grocery but it’s closing in 15 minutes.

Don’t panic.

You can still enjoy doing the grocery with out the rush. You can do it at Cost U Less. The store is stepping up operations in the country by offering 24-hour shopping in its branch in Libis, Quezon City. Isn’t that neat. D

We were there last Sunday at 12:30am. We were quite busy and forgot that we don’t have food left in the fridge or even powder detergent. Then I remembered Toni’s email that Cost U Less is a 24/7 store. So we hit the road and went there. The place is really nice and neat. The aisle is so wide, no bumping of pushcarts. Then the prices are just enough, not that pricey compared to those other 24/7 stores.

So if ever you’re near Libis and do wanted to do late night shopping, you now know a place D

And…

Im not really a fan of Pinoy Big Brother but I love the their theme song Pinoy Ako (by Orange N Lemons). Thanks Mec for the copy ha. Now Im playing it over and over. D

Since I know, I can’t wake up that early, So I wrote this note for him. Hoping that though I cannot make myself wake up at 4:00am, I want him to have my 143 words before he leaves our place and not to forget the take care always which I always say to him.

Oh boy am I sleepy…I better hit the bed now. Goodnight.

Watta weekend July 15, 2005

DJ and I watched the fantastic four over the weekend at Gateway. We chose the 10:30pm time schedule. The ticket lady told us that the 10:30 sched was a free seating, we expected that we can choose seats for best viewing. Oh well, I still bought 2 tickets. It was still early so we went at fully book muna to check out any good books. At 10:00pm, we went back at the cinema area and we were surprise to see the long line where the Fantastic four is showing. So we hurriedly fall in line too, good thing they already allowed people to get in though it was 30 minutes early. So we didn’t wait that long. We manage to find 2 good seats. Well, the movie was fun though I was expecting more heroic stuff. But I enjoyed it.

After the movie, hubby got hungry, so we went at Jollibee Philcoa. After parking the car, there were these kids who run towards me and sell those sampaguita, then a kid was asking naman money. I’d rather give food than money, I thought I’ll give something later na lang after eating. I walked and they keep on following me and holding my shirt that left a dirty stain so hubby told the kids to stop. Then this 4-5 year old kid who asked money early shouted and said “ayaw mo…P*****I**A mo, then step on my left foot and run away. I was really shocked. I wanted to run after him to get even but of course I didn’t. So upon entering the fast food, I told the guard to get rid of that kid and hang him upside down, he he he. After our midnight snack, we went back at the parking area and there were no kids anymore. Perhaps, they went selling at the other side of the parking area. And I was right, they were there. I felt bad. Where are the freaking parents of these kids. All of them age from 3-7 years old. By this time this youngster should be soundly sleeping but they are still here at the streets doing anything to have money. I have to admit, though I was kinda annoyed for what that kid did, I pity him, I pity them. We’ll I don’t want to ruin our date, so I forget all about it. But surely I’ll be back in that parking area…nope I won’t still give money, but I’ll bring a cracker or a bread to give them so that darn kid won’t step on my newly polished shoes again, he he he D

A worrywart I was a while ago, hubby is kinda sick. His temperature is a bit higher than the normal. I already gave him some medicine. Now he is sleeping. I do check his temperature from time to time to know, if it’s becoming normal. Another wifey experience here.

You see, hubby doesn’t get sick since we got married. It’s always I that get sick and lay in bed for days. It’s always I who is weak, who faints, who needs a capsule of more loving when sick. It’s always him, who took care of me when Im not in good health. He’s my hubby doctor. Now, it’s his turn. I’ll do the nursing this time. I’m not well verse in taking care of sick people but I have my loving hands to hold him and my caring lip to tell him to get well soon. Hopefully with these and some blanket and medicine, he’ll soon be kicking again.

We’re on our 2nd year and we decided to change the usual “romantic” scenario date. So Dj and I went at Metro Market Market wearing sneakers, shirts and jeans. Carefree and happy, that’s what we are that day. No meetings, no deadlines to attend too. Only us to celebrate.

We eat a lot, oh boy, I was so so full. I had a big serving of grilled chicken and buddy’s pansit habhab that comes along with spicy vinegar. I asked what the vinegar is for, it’s good to eat the pancit daw with vinegar. I haven’t tried it kasi the pancit itself is good na. So, I didn’t bother putting the vinegar, maybe next time, I’ll try that. We even bought a pack of pansit habhab for take out, as pasalubong to my sister and pamangkin. Then, Dj saw this flower shop and asked me if I want roses. I told him, wag na lang. Bili mo na lang ako ng 256MB or 512MB flash drive, he he he.

So after finishing the grilled chicken and the pansit habhab, we went looking for a flash drive. There were so many selections but the design are not what I wanted. simple & a handy one is what i had in mind, which I can use at work and at home. Other designs are colorful kasi though handy. Anyway, we stopped by at an appliance store and found a simple Flash Drive. Then I saw this I-pod that I wanted to have. Hmmm…lemme think, an I-pod or a flash drive. Oh well, since it was the Flash drive that were looking for in the first place, so we bought it. The I-pod, hmmm. Pag balik ko I’ll buy you.

We decided to went home at 9:00pm and guess what, It rain again, like what happened 2 years ago on that very same date. Rain falling on our head while we run towards the car. The rain was once a witness on how we sealed our love, now, he was again a witness on how we build a strong pillar in our relationship.

Blogging indeed is becoming a phenomena. I’ve seen lots of my ym chatmates who started their own blog at blogger. Now, Im receiving emails informing me that some of my net friends from friendster had created a blog at friendster blog. My sister-in-law is into blogging na rin. Nahawa na rin siguro sa akin at sa ibang friends nya. I’m thinking to create a blog at friendster but on the second thought I really can’t afford to have another blog. You see it’s hard to update especially when Im busy at work. So this blog for me is enough and Im happy with blogger. Technology really rocks.

Last night, my family, I and Dj attended the wedding of my cousin R. Would you believed that after 3 months of meeting personally they decided to settle. Love really is unexplainable. They first met at the Internet. Yeah you read it right, they are chatmates since September of 2004. My cousin was working abroad and the girl was staying here in the Philippines. Then after some chats and seeing each other through webcam, they fell in love. The very first time they meet personally was last February 2005. It was in March when they planned to get married. After a month of wedding preparation, they exchanged vows last night. Yup, it was a short romance but I can see in their eyes that both of them are in love with one another. I’ve known another couple who met through the Internet. They are happily married now and have 2 wonderful babies. I do believe that it’s not how you meet or how long you known each other that matters, It’s how you handle the relationship filled with love, affection and respect. Mushy me…

It’s the birthday of this wonderful guy that I’ve been sharing my married life for a year and a half. I wanted to give him something for his birthday but I cannot think of anything. I wanted to cook a great and intimate dinner in our place tonight but since I cannot skip work today, I asked my mom to cook a dish for his birthday. I know this guy that I married is a very simple guy who can be pleased by simple thoughts. So tonight, I’ll lit the candle on the cake that I’ll buy later. I’ll sing a birthday song. Whisper in his ears and tell him that I love him, love him more than before.

To you lovey, my ever loving husband, Happy Birthday and I love you very much

Let’s go at the grocery… October 14, 2004

When I was still single my favorite things to shop was purely clothes, shoes, make up, perfumes and my cosmopolitan magazine. Now that I’m married for a year and a couple of months, my priority changed a bit in buying. I still buy those things (except for cosmopolitan magazine, Im a good housekeeping reader already) but ofcourse, im a more of a wise shopper than the spend all girl. Since Im the wife, I do handle all the budgeting and spending. My budget are divided in paying the electric bill, water bill, phone bill, cellphone bill, credit cards, groceries and other minor things. Before when we were newly married, I got problems in budgeting our earnings, which end up in having no money at all before the next pay day come (gastadora talaga ko). Hubby then taught me on how to budget our money. He is the thrifty kind of person and I’m not. He taught me to have a couple of envelopes where I will write the the bills that I have to pay. So during payday, I put money in the envelopes, let say 700 pesos for the elctric bill, so on the next payday, I should complete our monthly payment for the electric bill. I do the same on the other monthly bills that I have to pay. It’s very effective for me.

As a wise shopper, I do make it a point that I find a supermarket where the groceries are at a competitive price and has clean environment. I shop twice a month for meat, vegetables, dry goods, bread and juices. I’ve done shopping at some major supermarket here at Q.C. and among the supermarkets I’ve been, it’s Shopwise Cubao which I loved and enjoy. Why do I enjoy shopping at Shopwise? Purely because, it has a big and clean selling area. They also have an ample aisle space and not to mention, the very clean and fresh smelling meat/fish section that they have. The parking is a no problem to shopper too. Aside from having a covered secure parking slots, shopper can also enjoy a free parking for a minimun purchase of 300 pesos. It also have a long shopping hours from 10 am to 11pm not like other shops that only stay up till 9pm or 10 pm.

Oh hubby bought this Kyowa Steam grill, its like a george foreman grill but a much cheaper. I don’t know if kyowa brands are okay buy I find the the stem grill efficient. It cooks our porkchops very tasty and it has a flavor reservoir which collect all the fat and grease from the grilled food. The collected oil can be used as a dip if added with some herbs and seasoning (which I don’t intend to do ha). Since hubby loves grilled foods, he can now enjoy, this dishes which are fat free and not to mention the non smoke cooking.

Dj just adores me.

He has my pic as his wallpaper in his laptop. To him, Im the most beautiful lady he has ever met. He makes me feel and look beautiful when I don’t feel one. He made me feel sexy though I gained weight. To him, Im perfect (dapat lang noh, he he he). he massages my back when Im over worked at the office. He just made me smile when Im not in the mood. I really can’t explain the love and the patience he has for me. As what I’ve said before, Im very lucky of having him in my life.

If last weekend was a great weekend, My weekend was even more greater.

Saturday ,
Had tuyo, fried eggs and fried rice for breakfast. Did some little cleaning. Dj then decided, that we do some shopping. Oh well, we went to SM Manila and bought a t-shirt for me and 2 shirts for Dj(daya). Then, had lunch at “Bacolod Chicken”. Yummy…I love grilled chicken. (Hmmm…Does anyone here knows how to make this kind of grilled chicken). After finishing our sumptuous lunch, we did our grocery. I love going to supermarkets. We bought, everything that we need. I had my very reliable list that I always do everytime we do our groceries. Went home late but manage to watch Harry potter 2. I’ve watched it more than 3 times already. I really love Daniel Radcliffe. Cant wait to have a copy of Harry Potter 3 & 4 to complete my collection.

Sunday
.
Dj and I enjoyed our Sunday together, Listening to good music, watching TV, and some hugging and kissing. I wont trade anything else when Im with Him. )

Have a great week everyone!!!
