Sesame Street

November 6, 2009

If you can sing this song, it means that we both grew up with Sesame Street. I remembered when this show was airing, I would stop whatever I am doing and will happily sing this song along with my siblings. So nostalgic.

Oh it’s Sesame Street’s 40th anniversary. Actually I didnt know that until I noticed that google keep showing sesame street characters.  :)

Now you want to sing along here’s the lyrics

Sunny Day
Sweepin’ the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet

Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame Street

Come and play
Everything’s A-OK
Friendly neighbors there
That’s where we meet

Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Sesame Street

It’s a magic carpet ride
Every door will open wide
To Happy people like you–
Happy people like
What a beautiful

Sunny Day
Sweepin’ the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet

Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame street…

How to get to Sesame Street

How to get to…

That was fun singing it right. :)

After all these years Sesame Street is still going strong – of course the world can’t be without Big Bird and the Cookie Monster…
