SM Supermarket recently launched its M.O.B. drive or My Own Bag. This is their own way of making our world a more sustainable place. 
So every Wednesday SM utilizes brown paper bags for our purchases. Also the management encourages us shoppers to use our own environment-friendly bags for our groceries.
It’s really a nice project. Glad they come up with such campaign. So the next time you do your grocery on a M.O.B Day dont forget to bring your own shopping bags and help save our environment….every little step counts!

i always shop at SM and i always see their MOB sign. It’s good that they have that kinf of project. Sana everyday na lang din.
Some of the shopping malls here encourages shoppers to bring their own bags to reduce usage of plastic bags.
That’s a remarkable project. I hope the other establishments would do their share, too.
And they have biodegradable plastics too!
Good move by SM! Wifey always brings her bags too when we go do the grocery. Galing! Sana more stores follow this example.

That’s good! I hope the other supermarkets and deparment stores follow soon. I know Rustan’s have been selling these eco-bags for quite some time already.
It really makes a difference to stop using those plastic bags.
this is a nice project by SM. I think they also started the green bag diba way before pa. actually, even in their department store, I ask if i can use my own bag. ok naman sa kanila. in fact, even sa ibang department stores and groceries, like shopwise, i use my own bag, and it’s allowed. so i guess it’s just a matter of informing people that they can use their own bag. i hope this practice will become the norm in our country, as it is in others.
