The other weekend, we had dinner at Sizzling Pepper Steak at Trinoma.
The service was a bit slow, it took couple of minutes before our food was served but I was entertained watching their LCD monitors that demonstrate how one should prepare and eat their pepper rice and steak.
The pepper rice meals are served on hot plates with the slightly cooked meat. You have to flip the beef cutlets so that it can be cooked evenly. Then you’re supposed to mix it all together with the rice, then add the sauce (ours was teriyaki sauce).
We had the following by the way…..
Husband picked Beef Pepper Rice. He already removed the paper shield after a couple of minutes but still it was a smoking hot plate.
He had to flip and turn the meat really quick or else the other side of the meat might burn.

I got this for myself, Beef Teriyaki Rice. I enjoyed the turning and the flipping of the beef strips. Look, I perfectly cooked my meat. Oh the rice for me was delectable hmmmm!

Then we had the Kani Salad. A combination of shredded cucumber on bed of lettuce, japanese mayo topped with ebiko. It was so refreshing and delicious.

So, if you like sizzlers the Japanese style, then the Sizzling Pepper Steak is a must-try! (but be warned some says their service sucks, hahaha)

This pepper steak looks absolutely amazing!
tried this too but we weren’t satisfied. we haven’t beenn back there since then. and yes, service sucks.
It’s a new dining experience, nakakatuwa mag flip nung marker nila! tapos nag mamadali sila to serve you.
the food was ok
i should read your blog before heading there.
You are so polite and patience.
We had the worse experience. Saying their service is slow is great understatement.
I daresay that good food will never outweigh or make up for bad service. By the way, therewas nothing fantastic with the food. The pepper-iners of their menu disguises the low quality meats they use.
My wife’s been waiting for them to have a branch in ATC. Ang layo kasi ng Rockwell. Nakakapag laway naman ito.
hmm… another takam entry. *wipes drool*
think there are more choices over there than we have here
this is our staple for i-don’t-want-to-cook nights. hehehe. btw sis i tried your skinless longanisa recipe, the best!
I’m not a beef eater but the food sure looks great!
wow kakagutom ang sarap tingnan.
yay! nakakain na rin ako diyan. akalain mong nakarating ako ng trinoma hahaha!
di ko napansin na matagal pala service kasi chikahan kami ng chikahan hahaha
