Our second day at Baguio was a fun filled day. After our breakfast, we enjoyed the morning strolling the fresh air at burnham park.

Then we took a jeepney going to La Trinidad to visit, straberry farm. It my first time you see. Too bad it’s not picking season so I wasnt able to experience to harvest strawberries.

Reminds me of Farm Town hehehe

The manang who sells strawberries said, since it’s not picking season, they harvested the strawberries at the mountain (and pointed out a far mountain). The strawberry above was a bit small but it was sure sweet.

On the side of the road, a row of vendors selling various strawberry products: fresh strawberries by the kilo, strawberry jam, strawberry ice cream, strawberry wine, strawberry taho. We tried the strawberry ice cream. It was really good.
Later on, we brought out a kilo strawberries at a cheap price. I ate it on our way home by the way!
After a quick lunch we checked the marketplace (not farm town ha!).

My officemate said, it’s a must to buy benguet coffee. So we immediately looked for it. Hubz saw one store selling coffee beans, he immediately dragged me there. Then after a while, a boy approached us to sell his sack bag for 10 pesos. He also offered to carry our shop bag for some extra.

I was a bit worried as the boy was so young to carry a heavy shop bag but he said, he is used to in carrying heavy stuffs. So sige na nga
So back to the coffee beans, we bought 2kilos of Benguet coffee and a kilo of Barako coffee for 500pesos (ang mura!!!!!).

The dark coffee beans is the Benguet coffee while the other one is the Barako Coffee
We also bought some sweets for pasalubong such as lengua de gato, peanut brittle, walang kamatayang strawberry preserved, sundot kulangot and garlic chips.

and ofcourse, we cannot forget, ang bilin ng aming mga nanay, tiyahin at lola-ang walis

I think we bougth 8pcs yata.
I was a bit tired na, I then asked hubz na we head back to our place.
At the Inn, I let hubz sleep for a while then around 3:30, we headed to Lourdes Grotto.

Access to the top of the grotto could be made by climbing the 252 steps. Medyo napagod ang lola nyo ha!
On our way down naman, we decided to take the winding, narrow and steep asphalt-paved road.

Souvenir shop were also everywhere

We bought strawberry taho…

Yummy!!!! I want more

I took a picture of the manang who wears an igorot custome. I paid her 5 pesos for that shot
and ofcourse we didn’t forget to have our photo at the said place….yun nga lang, me extra….

Yaikssss!!!!
we didnt noticed that person. Pero syempre kami na nag adjust, umusog na lang kami ng konti to have a sweet shot
It’s past 5pm na when we finished touring the place. He headed to session road for dinner and coffee. It was a tiring day for us but the hubz and I really enjoyed it.
The third day naman, we didnt go out na as we have to leave the Inn at 12noon and our feet was so damn aching na kasi hehehehe!
coming next…the place where we stayed at!
Have a great day everyone!
