Not good as always!

At a fastfood around 10pm….

There was only one cashier and I was 2nd customer waiting to be serve. The customer in front of me already gave his order but I really dont know, why the service crew was taking too long to prepare his order. Two minutes had passed, still she’s not done, to think….she’s just assembling 2 drinks, 2 sandwich and fries.

Then I asked the manager who was also there and was busy counting the money inside the till.

Me: Is there no other people here to serve us, the line is already too long…

Manager: (talks to the crew who’s next to him) You open the till and serve them.

Service crew: Here ma’am (calling me). may I take your order.

(Then I gave mine)

You ordered for garden salad, cheesy toasted melts and iced tea. Ma’am the toasted melts would be served in ten minutes.

Me: Hmmmm….I saw a box of toasted melt behind you.

Service Crew: Oh…sorry. Grab the box and placed on my tray.

Your bill would be….

Me: okay (then I get my wallet and handed the payment.)

Service crew: Your change ma’am (giving me the money), Is it okay if your change is less than a peso.

Me: Uoh-ohhh…a peso???? it’s quite a big amount right?

Service Crew: (Look again at her till). Oh sorry ma’am. Here’s the the peso

Me: (in a confused tigress look) Okay thanks!
(I then walked away with my food)

Their service really sucks big time and I swear I wont go back at that branch again ever!!!!

sabi ko na nga ba eh, mapa delivery or dine-in they dont give quality service to customers, hmp!!!!

Oh well, charge to experience. lolz

  1. Is the KFC in Rufino St? Most of the time it takes a long time for them to take and assemble the orders.. Not that efficient probably.

  2. KG, candy rin panukli jan? Dito rin! Eh eversince nung sinopla ko, sabi ko tatanggap ba sila ng candy na bayad, kokonti na ang ulam na binibigay sa akin. So di na lang ako kumakain sa kanila. And my lunch just got better.

  3. Sana you mentioned the specific food chain and location. You never know. The owners might come across this post. I remember a rant I posted last September on Mcdo. When I came back, it was much better and the “Manager” manning the fries was nowhere in sight. Maybe they read it, or maybe not, but the good thing is okay na sila.

  6. anong food chain ba ‘to? paiba ibang experience. minsan naranasan ko yan sa chowking. lol. minsan yung mga crew mini-memorize ang line nila kaya minsan over na.

  7. We might be advance in other things -maybe in piracy and certain technologies, but we are so behind in giving Excellent Customer Service.

    The worst part is that it seems like the more a customer complains about the bad service, the more it falls on deaf ears.

  8. Yup, it’s a sad fact, customer service has not matured in the Philippines. Maybe it’s because of lack of competition? Or just purely a culture thing?
    I remember nabuhusan kami ng boss ko with 5 glasses of water when the waitress lost balance of the tray she was holding. Not a single person in the crew apologized or even offered to help. The waitress just ran off to hide. And the manager just stared at us as we stood up drenched, trying to look for something to wipe our shirts with.
    This happened in Banana Leaf at Powerplant, so I would have expected better from them.
    After about 10 minutes the manager finally approached and told us he was concerned with the way we were looking at him. I swear, I was going to kurot his nipples off. Buti na lang napigilan ako.

  9. nakakainis talaga ang mga ganyan. we’re also working hard as they are or should be, and we go to their shops to be served and to treat ourselves after working hard, and all we get is a lousy service not even worth the VAT. hay.

    i think we’ve all had expereinces with bad customer service.
