What I feel.

Please forgive me if I was not able to bloghop, I had both hands full. Right now, I am still at work trying to beat our last deadline for our US client. As I’ve said in one of my previous entries, our American client no longer renew their contract. This will end our partnership with them, hence making our team be assigned in a different department.
So how do I feel now? A bit sad. It’s true that saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do. A while ago as I was writing my farewell email to the bosses and those people whom I had been communicating for the last two years, I cannot help tears fall. It’s been my diurnal to check their email first thing in the morning and communicate with them through skype. Starting next year, things would be a lot different.

But as spoke…nothing in this world is forever. I am just grateful, I was once a part of the Manila team.

So….Okay enough of the sadness. I will get back to work :)

Oh by the way, the husband got the present for me. It’s wrapped already and safely kept under the tree. Actually I knew what it is but I asked him to wrap, hahaha. :)

Everyone have a wonderful weekend.

  2. everything happens for a reason. i know there are still more opportunities for you. Just keep the faith.

  3. Jeanny, it’s always sad to see nice things go. It saddens me to let my deadlines go, too, you see, i have always been a workaholic and the piles of papers and articles that always leave my desk is a sad thought because I could not have anything to go over with my eyes anymore. But there’s more coming, so hope for the best, who knows, a better client will make your 2009! I got the package Jeanny, I heart the bracelet cum necklace, I even heart the choc nut, do you na first time ko to try this? Love you Jeanny! Will blog about it very soon…

  4. you may also want to hop on my blog. you are very much welcome there :)

  5. I can understand in a way why they must have not renewed. Our economy here is in pretty bad shape which is kinda scary. With the auto industry failing and lots of companies closing, lots of people are being laid off and sadly some of them will lose their jobs this Christmas! Makes me wish I was in the Philippines or somewhere else. US is fearing another bout of recession which will be VERY SCARY!!! – well, I hope u feel better {emotionally} :) – Just dropping in to say Hi!

  6. Hey Jeanny! I got your card and postcards too, thank you so much- it really made my day! I have to tell you…. you are too good of a person for something not to come right around the corner. You are so sweet and such a positive thinker! I am sorry that you are going through this turbulent time but I am going to send up good thoughts for you as you are one of the nicest people I have met. Much love to you and yours this Chrismas and thank you again for the gorgeous postcards!! xoxoxoxoxo

  7. uhm… at least you know what you wanted for Christmas and are getting it :)

and am sure this is just another opportunity for you to grow… that won’t take the sadness away but still, new challenges are always opportunities for great possibilities…

oh and ako din, so sorry i don’t bloghop more…

  8. The economic situation around the world is pretty dire. Here in the UK quite a number of people are losing their jobs. It’s really harsh, seeing that it’s almost Christmas. Don’t let it dampen your spirits, it’s an opportunity to move on to bigger and better things :) With family and friends around this holiday, they should pick you up. Happy holidays hun! *hugs*
