Husband’s 1001 ways of being smart. November 5, 2008

I was so exhausted last night. Did tons of work at the office. My back was aching and I cannot move an inch. I wanted to go bed but I thought what to prepare for dinner.

Good thing, we have some leftovers from last night but the man wanted to eat fish. We have a pack of fresh tuna cuts in the fridge. I was not in the mood to cook so the sweet husband abruptly raised his hand and quickly said,

I’ll cook sinigang for you.

I cannot believe what I heard. He will cook a soup dish for the first time in our married life hahaha! Since husband is not really a kitchen person, I somehow feel guilty of letting him do everything. So I decided to help him a little….

I quartered the onions and tomatoes. Cut some vegetables. Then I pour 3 cups of water in a pot, slide the onions and tomatoes and let it simmer. Then I add small amount of sinigang mix (too bad we don’t have kamias). I put some fish sauce to taste. Simmer, simmer, simmer. After few minutes, I throw the vegetables in. Then I place the Fresh Tuna cuts that we bought at the supermarket. Few Minutes more, it was ready!!!!

Hmmmm….he did tell that he will cook the sinigang right. The husband was so clever indeed. lolz. Oh well atleast he has a happy stomach. :)

ang galing nga jeanny, at least, may alam na recipe! :)
it’s funny konting pa-cute nila, andar pa rin ang energy natin kahit medyo low-batt na.

when my husband offers to take care of dinner, that would mean pizza, or chinese take-out, or burgers and fries. hehe.

What a clever husband indeed! Men have their ways to send us subliminal messages of what they want. They too can manipulate us women in ways they wanted.
