A typhoon is whirling the city. It’s raining really hard. The roads are slippery, the scene is not that visible. It’s scary to be on the streets right?
Have you been into this situation. Driving in the middle of a typhoon. Care to share you experience.

another nice question, with the things that’s happening in the phils., even without the cold wind and the rain, it already seems to be storming with lots of crisis.
i had a storm experience when i was in my elementary days, in western visayas, antique to be exact because i am a karay-a. the wind blew so hard that our roof was struck out of the house, my lolo who went out to check the situation almost got killed. the steel roofing passed by his neck while dropping.
without the roof, the whole house came soaking wet… ouch, very stormy indeed.
hmmm…i think some15 years ago on our way once to davao del norte, a storm just calmed down, and we were stuck on the road for hours - we were all hungry, cranky, tired and frightened, because the highway was all flooded with the overflowing river.
but i think storms and typhoons are more frightening in manila. when senyang struck manila in 2001, i couldn’t sleep because the wind was howling outside; its hard beatings on our door and the various crashing sounds outside went on the whole night like some crazy concerto. the next year, i went back to my city. i had enough of manila.
ay kaloka yan! kami naman drive to portland 2 yrs ago, di lang bagyo na ulan sumalubong sa min, snow storm! ingat lagi jeanny!
