I’ve read in a magazine that expressing anger is good to a person but do it in a rightful way. Breaking plates and knocking the closet door aren’t good way of expressing anger. Thank goodness I’m not like that..the throwing everything when you are mad chick. :)

Hubz and I do fight sometimes. I’m more on the no talks while a mad person while he patiently waits for me to discuss things that make me mad. I’m so lucky of having a very understanding husband. He surely knows how to handle my topak.

Friends do fight too. Whenever I’m into this situation, I don’t confront them while I’m raging. I stay away from them. Talk to a trusted person (hubs fits this category) and express my inner feeling. I dont just talk to somebody, don’t want things to spread out (aka chismis). Mulling it over someone safe helps me figure out less hostile, more instructive ways to express such feelings. When my thinking is in it’s right place, I return to the person who made me rage and talk about the problem.

I’ve read here how to handle anger. Basically there are 3 steps, STOP, SAY and TELL. I should start learning these 3.

The Basics

I wrote those 3 words on a piece on paper and post in one of my cabinet door. If anger strikes me and forget the 3 steps, these will surely reminds me on what to do.

Everyone…do enjoy the vacation and have a blessed one too :)

It’s tough to manage anger, thank goodness for techniques that we can adapt to our own personalities. :)
